RSS Feeds Twilight Zone

Well, I think I've just entered a space time continuum. Is anybody else confused about how all these steps connect? If I've completed the steps correctly, I will have more feeds than I can possibly read in one lifetime...and how do you choose?

The most difficult part of this exercise was trying to figure out how every step worked and how the Google Reader was connected to Bloglines. The easiest part, well there wasn't an easy part. :-) I need the teacher who leans over my shoulder to say, "Well, this would be an easier way to accomplish the task."

I know that this exercise will evolve as my interests change. I'll unsubscribe and subscribe as time goes on and I'll discover what interests me. I do know that this is a world expanding exercise and I will thoroughly enjoy learning not only what RSS feeds can offer me, but "Oh, what does this or that button or link do...and now that I'm here, where exactly am I?" It's time to play and discover.

"Techie" Toddler

There is always "something" to remind me that standing still in the broad field of technology is definitely the way to be left behind. My son spends a minimum of 2 hours each day researching new technology on the internet. I don't think I am willing to do the same amount of time, but the facts are, "You snooze, you lose."

I finally learned how to navigate on WebMD and Facebook. I'm thrilled by what I can now do... I click on links without fear of creating havoc.

71/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners

The concepts of this video are all things I agree with but haven't really consciously done all of them...like writing down my goals for accomplishing or learning something. A learning contract to keep me on track is just not something I've done. The motivation to keep me going has always been curiosity. "What's next?" is usually what I have thought to keep me on track. I won't go so far as to say it will be the most difficult, but it will absolutely be challenging and I look forward to finding out what this exercise will teach me. "What's next?!" The easiest is the "path" because to me this is synonymous with discovery and "play". It sounds like pure joyful abandonment!

What's happening here?

This blog is for ideas...ideas that ignite imagination, change, and creation of new concepts. The subject is the growth of you in a world that cultivates an ever expanding learning curve.
