People have a lot to say.

#14 is an "eyebrow raiser"! Wow! It just makes you wonder if the sheer numbers of bloggers out there have created a digital library that someday will need to be further refined. Will we ever run out of space? Will we ever run out of subjects to discuss with someone who we'll never have to meet?

There is the expected number of movies and videos. I just never realized there was so much "in your face" media. Thank goodness for the logout.

Delicious is Delicious!

I am so surprised at what Delicious can do! I really liked the concept of Rollyo but this exercise with Delicious just "blew me away"! I thought that organizing my interests would be a good way to use Delicious, but I can see a far greater potential for using it for work. I have such a huge file of contacts whose customer service email addresses could be tagged. All of those urls could be stored in one place and easily retrieved. I am always looking for ways to save time or to use the time I have more efficiently. Delicious certainly looks like a tool for saving time.

Rollyo, Oh Rollyo, where have you been all my life?

Personally, I love to organize my many, many interests. I have a paper file drawer at home to prove it...but never had I thought to put my love of movie theme composers anywhere on the internet! It's just more satisfaction than I can express. Having a "file" of websites that doesn't take up room in a file drawer or clog up my favorites list is a joyful discovery! Making a Rollyo for vendor contacts for work now makes such good sense. I can't wait to get started so I can see how it works for me. The trouble is, I have so many contacts, I may run out of room on Rollyo. I'll just have to play more won't I!

Library Thing...Old and New

I have always love, love, loved children's books...ones that I have read to my own children and new ones that pass through my hands at the library. I also love "how to" books. Finding them all in one place was an adventure! All it took was some walking with my fingers!

Library Thing is like a buffet of comfort foods so I added to My Library my favorite Daniel Handler books along with books that I would like to read in the future. I'll go back from time to time and review the new books I've read. It really appeals to me that I can find out what others thought about"my" books and it can be found in just a few easy clicks. I can also decide from others' reviews if I should read a book just because it had a great title. (My co-w0rkers know that I love interesting book titles.)

Image Generators, Oh My!

This was such fun! I created a custom profile picture using the image generator at: http://www.customsigngenerator.com/. I can't wait to try it out on my friends and relatives. My emails are pretty generic and almost always are solely text. Sometimes I add animations like hugs and kisses (I know, eewww!) to emails headed for loved ones. This exercise wouldn't let me just paste a picture in the post, but I'll learn how to do that too...stay tuned.
